SYNOPSIS Having
spent 10 years as an active and renowned centre of visual, theatrical
and musical, this hospital founded in 1901 reopened its doors in 1988.
Its renovation was completed in 2001. “Kaléidoscope”
embarks on the discovery of this hospital in Montmartre, which is a historically
classified building. It consists of “homes” each housing 15
elderly and infirm people looked after by attentive and warm-hearted staff
who engage the residents in various therapeutic activities. The “homes”
are linked to an interior passage on which can be found a restaurant,
a café, a media library and shop. Inviting gardens and terraces
make for lovely walks … The story of a hospital unlike any other. Directed
