SYNOPSIS

Kaleidoscope is off to the circus... On the road in Italy, Kaleidoscope accompanies a famous troop of travelling performers: the "Americano Togni" circus, a tribute (yes, indeed) to the "Strada" and Fellini's clowns. We discover a living space in a caravan of lorries and under the big top in the company of these travellers. Under the big top we meet clowns, elephants, acrobats, musicians and magicians who do their tricks from town to town. In the ring, the fantasy of the acts, the colour of the characters and situations often hides a lot of hard work where the precision of the gestures is the foundation for the success of a far from ordinary enterprise. Kaleidoscope sets it all to music, shades of Nino Rota...
